At Doozy Cards we care about your online experience and we make your security and privacy a top priority. To protect your privacy, Doozycards.com has instituted security and privacy policies for how we store and/or use the information that our customres provide us. Below is a descripotion of the type of information we collect, how we use it, and your rights to change it.

Doozycards.com:  

- Provides a link to this Privacy Statement on all pages that ask for personal information

- Will not release personal identifying information about you without first obtaining your consent

This privacy statement discloses our practices for the gathering and use of information from visitors to our Web sites and from individuals who register for services that we offer online. 

We may use your IP address to:  

- Help diagnose problems with our server

- Administer our Web site

- Gather broad, anonymous demographic information.

- Prevent fraud

Our site may use cookies:  

• - To deliver content specific to your interests

• - And for statistical purposes.

• - Assist with log in to your membership or free Reminders

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED:

Some of the data we receive is automatic upon creating a membership; other data is voluntary on the part of members.

Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (such as name and email address) and, optionally, demographic information (birth date). We may use customer contact information from the registration form to: 

• - Send you information about our company and

• - Contact you when necessary for operations pertaining to:

  • > the sending of your ecards,

  • > other of the ecard service's related functions,

  • > your membership

  • > or subscription to our free Reminders.

Additional information may be stored that is optional and voluntarily provided by customers. This type of information includes: birthday, street address, phone number and dates of usage of our site. This information is used solely for Customer Support and communicating with customers about technical or usage issues that may arise or about which we may have been contacted. It may help us in preventing fraud from time to time. We do not provide this information to outside parties.

Doozycards.com does not store credit card information nor financial information provided during during the subscription process. It may be stored by the credit card processing companies used to process the transaction and establish the subscription (currently, PayPal, Inc.). Any company contracted by Doozycards.com for this purpose has been thoroughly vetted for security and safety of customer information. They may be contacted for removal of personal information at any time.

Customers may supply information which is stored via the site, pertaining to friends, relatives, and acquaintances. These are used and stored in in various of our site's functions. This data is voluntary and can be added or deleted at any time. This information is never used by Doozycards.com for marketing or any other purpose than the purpose stated on the site, nor is it provided to any outside parties at any time. These functions include:

• > Reminders

• > Card History

• > My Cards (favorite ecards from our site)

• > Address Book

We may use demographic and customer profile information to tailor the visitors' experience at our site, showing them content that we think might interest them and displaying the content according to their preferences. 

At times we may have special business relationships with some companies, but none of them receive individual identifying information about you collected at our sites. 

DATA DELETION & MAKING REQUESTS FOR DATA DELETION:

Doozycards.com gives users the following options for removing their information from our database, to not receive future communications, or to no longer receive our service.

Removal From our Customer Database:
All users past and present have the right to request that their personal data be deleted by us from our database.

Anyone with a Doozycards.com Premier Membership (membership) or a free membership used with our free Reminders system, can log into their account and remove the personal information from their profiles by clicking on the menu listing "My Profile" at the top of any page. Then by clicking on "My Account" and/or "Reminders" and/or "Card History" and/or "My Cards" and/or "Address Book", they may delete any or all entries. We will delete these entries for any customer who contacts us requesting we do so.

Identifying information can be removed from our database with a simple request by contacting us at [email protected]. In the request please state clearly that all personal information should be removed and deleted, in addition to or rather than cancelling a membership subscription. We will be happy to comply and we will reply with an email confirming the information has been deleted.

From our Mailing list:
All recipients of our newsletter may elect not to receive future communications by clicking on the special URL that is placed at the bottom of our newsletter which allows subscribers to remove themselves. They may also send us a request to be removed from our mailing list at [email protected].  After such a request, we will reply with confirmation once they have been removed.

 

In general, Doozycards.com is a general interest/audience site and is not directed at children under the age of 13. It is Doozycards.com's policy to refrain from knowingly collecting personally identifying information from children 12 or under and to actively discourage children from providing such information at points of collection. 

 

As part of our card sending function/program, we ask you to provide information (like the name and e-mail address) of your friends and family to whom you would like to send a card. Users receive card pick up notification e-mails, but do not become members of doozycards.com until they confirm their interest in our service and sign up to become members or to receive our newsletter and/or special offers from our advertisers.
